Election 2015: What You Need To Know

Vote2015-CollageThe Town Council election is Tuesday, May 12. Polls open at 6 a.m. and close at 8 p.m. During those hours, you have a chance to vote to fill two seats on the Council, each for a four-year term.

MyVeronaNJ.com does not make election endorsements. We believe it is the responsibility of every voter to gather information and make his or her own choice. This page contains information that you might want to consider as you make your choice.

Election 2015: Verona’s Biggest Challenge
We asked the candidates two questions: What is the biggest challenge facing Verona and if elected, how would you handle that challenge?

On April 27, MyVeronaNJ.com and The Verona Observer co-hosted a campaign forum. FACT CHECK
Many years ago, Verona switched to a non-partisan form of Town Council that was supposed to make elections less contentious. It’s never really been that way, and this year is no exception. These two stories explore some of the thornier issues:
