Scholarship3Thanks to the support of the community over the past year, the Junior Woman’s Club of Verona will again be able to award three scholarships to deserving high school seniors. Each scholarship is worth $1,000. Applicants must reside in Verona and be graduating seniors in order to be considered for this honor.

All three scholarships are for seniors who have decided to pursue a form of higher education. One is specifically for a student planning to major in the arts and another is earmarked for a student who has demonstrated the principles of community service and/or charity work during high school. Requirements for each scholarship can be found on the application. Applications and criteria can be downloaded at www.veronajuniors.org. They also are available on the Verona High School website by logging into the Naviance guidance system.

All applications have a firm deadline of Monday, April 27, 2015.
