If you have a budding computer scientist in your house you might want to know about an event next week at the Verona Public Library on Raspberry Pi and Minecraft.
Raspberry Pi is a tiny low-cost computer that can be used to do a whole bunch of computing tasks and it handles the Scratch program that Verona’s middle schoolers have been learning. You can learn more about Raspberry Pi here. Minecraft is an insanely popular computer game that lets users build complex 3D worlds.
The Raspberry Pi and Minecraft event is for tweens and teens in grades 5 through 12, and their families, the Library says.
It will be held on Wednesday, March 11, at 3:30 p.m.
