AOW-WMulderry1The Verona Sports Boosters would like to congratulate Will Mulderry of the Verona High School boys basketball team as the Boys Senior Athlete of the Week.

A two-year starter since transferring to VHS, Will has averaged 15 points per game over his last seven games, helping the Hillbillies to a 6-6 record.

His most memorable VHS basketball moment was coming out of the locker room in the state semi-final game last year and feeling the electricity in the crowd.

When not on the court, Will enjoys listening to music and lists Drake as his favorite artist. He is a fan of the show Entourage and lists Chipotle as his favorite food. A fan of the New York Knicks, but when asked who he would choose to have dinner with, Will said Steve Nash of the Los Angeles Lakers. The best vacation Will ever took was to Turks and Caicos.AOW-WMulderry2

Next year, Will plans on playing basketball in Denmark before returning to the U.S. to attend college.

The Verona Sports Boosters wishes Will good luck in all of his future plans. During the 2014-2015 school year, the Verona Sports Boosters will recognize a different male and female senior athlete at Verona High School. The Boosters support male and female athletes in all VHS sports through a variety of fundraisers and recognition events.
