Once again, the weather is wreaking havoc with a holiday tradition: The Verona-Caldwell Thanksgiving football game has been postponed to Friday at 10 a.m.

According to Verona Superintendent of Schools Rui Dionisio, the game may be played at Centennial Field, pending an assessment of the lower field at Verona High School tomorrow.

Last year, cold rainy weather forced the game to be moved from James Caldwell High School to the turf field at West Essex High School.
