Visentin Inducted Into Scranton Honor Society

Kristin-VisentinKristin Visentin was among the 114 University of Scranton students who were inducted into Alpha Lambda Delta, the national honor society for freshmen, at a ceremony held recently on campus.

For membership, students must rank in the top 20 percent of the class, have a minimum GPA of 3.5 for the first semester of their freshman year, and be enrolled on a full-time basis.

The Richard H. Passon Chapter of Alpha Lambda Delta was founded in 2001 at Scranton. Visentin, a 2013 graduate of Verona High School, is enrolled in the Panuska College of Professional Studies at the Jesuit university. She is majoring in nursing and is also a cheerleader.
