MyVeronaNJ-Holy-Spirit“All Saints Sunday is a time of celebration at Holy Spirit Episcopal Church. Although All Saints Day actually falls on November 1, we will mark this important Feast Day on Sunday, November 2nd” announced Rev’d. Ronnie Stout-Kopp. “We will celebrate all the great Saints of the Church, but we will also remember all those who have been saints to us in our own personal lives.”

How can we forget those who have loved and encouraged us into being what we are today! Perhaps yours is a special friend, relative, teacher or coach?  We invite everyone to bring along a picture of their personal saint and place it on the Altar to be blessed and also to call out the names of personal saints during the prayers. “This is a day to celebrate and remember all those who have shown us the light of God and all those who have guided us on our way.”

Need help finding out more about the official saints? Try this Wikipedia page. We’re looking forward to sharing stories of all the saints, both personal and public on Sunday, November 2, at 9:30 a.m.!
