Congregation Beth Ahm will continue Jewish AdventureTime, its new monthly Sunday-morning program for children ages 2 to 7, on Sunday, November 9, from 10:30 to 11:30 a.m. The program will feature holiday-related crafts, music, stories and all-around fun.
Additional workshops will take place on Sundays December 14 and January 11 from 10:30 to 11:30 a.m. Kosher snacks will be served. The cost is $8 per session for one child/$12 for two children or $36 for one child/$54 for two children for the entire first semester. The fee covers craft materials and snacks. Family members are invited to stay and participate.
The program will be directed by Shelley Schwartz Hargrove, a long-time synagogue member, mother, lawyer and experienced teacher. She looks forward to introducing the children to the fun and excitement of celebrating Jewish holidays and traditions.
