Entering the playoffs, Verona would need to defeat Bloomfield, #1 Irvington and ultimately #2 Glen Ridge in the championship game.
Verona took a 2-0 lead in the first two minutes of the championship game on Thursday and never looked back. Fighting hard the entire way, Verona was able to secure their first West Orange Summer League title.
