Verona Plays Caldwell At Cooperstown

The Verona 13-U Barnstormers baseball team recently traveled to Cooperstown, N.Y. and played a doubleheader against Caldwell at Doubleday Field. The team and their families also enjoyed the Baseball Hall of Fame, touring the town and a team dinner.
The players included Brandon Cariani, Dante Puerari, Patrick McMurtrie, Tom Sharkey, Pat Haughney, Adam Weiss, Kyle Jacobsen, David Motley, Michael Garcia, Lucas Jacobsen, Jake Weber, Matthew Frungillo and Matthew Monroe. The team’s coaches are Mike Puerari, Glen Jacobsen, Tom Sharkey, Robert Frungillo, Brian Haughney and Dan Motley.
