In honor of Memorial Day, the Student Council at H.B. Whitehorne middle school has been collecting donations to send to our troops.
Suggested items include socks, hard candy, gum, playing cards, deodorant, dental floss, tooth paste, tooth brushes, pens/pencils, notebooks, markers/crayons, coloring books, crossword or other puzzle books. Items should be new, sealed, and in their original packaging.
If you have a student in HBW, you can send donations in in their backpack. If you don’t, drop them at the front office. The collection will run through Friday, May 30.
