At 7 p.m., you can learn about creating an organic backyard garden at the Verona Public Library  with organic farmer Anthony Bracco of Cedar Grove. The Bracco family owns and operates Bracco Farms, an organic produce farm in Pine Island, N.Y.

Also at 7, there will be workshop presentations on several aspects of the municipal budget. The department budgets to be presented will include the court, police, construction code and recreation. The meeting is in the Council Chambers on the second floor of Town Hall.

At 8 p.m., the Board of Education is in session in the Verona High School Library. There’s going to be a presentation by Brookdale Avenue School.

And finally, Tuesday night, April 29, is supposed to be the annual rivalry fundraiser game between Verona and Cedar Grove at  Jackals stadium. Game start has been pushed back to 8 p.m. from 7 p.m. But the weather is not looking good.UPDATE: The game has been moved to Tuesday, May 6 at 7 p.m.
