Mrs. Nancy Ciccone, 89, died on Tuesday, April 22, 2014 in Lincoln Park. Visiting will be in the Prout Funeral Home 370 Bloomfield Avenue, Verona, on Saturday, April 26 from 9 to 10:15 a.m. with a Funeral Mass following at 10:30 a.m. in Our Lady of the Lake Church, Verona.
Born in Newark, Mrs. Ciccone lived in Verona for most of her life. She was a devoted wife and mother.
Mrs. Ciccone was predeceased by her beloved husband, Angelo Ciccone, Sr., her daughter, Lillian Schmaus, and her son, Angelo Ciccone, Jr. She was the loving grandmother of Krista Lynn Daigle (and her husband Brandon) and Anthony Schmaus (and his wife Jessica) and great-grandmother of William Daigle.
She was also mother-in-law of Anthony Schmaus, Sr. and aunt to many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, donations to the Our Lady of the Lake Endowment Fund, 32 Lakeside Ave., Verona, NJ 07044 would be appreciated.
