Benjamin Blinder
Since moving to Verona with his wife Karen in 1986, Ben has been involved in a wide variety of volunteer committees, groups and teams throughout our community. In 2001 he became a member of, and is presently still serving on The Verona September 11th Memorial Committee. As a member of the Verona Landmarks Preservation Commission, Ben has served as both its Chairman and Vice-Chairman. Very active with the youth of our community, Ben has spent many years coaching Verona Softball with the Recreation Department, as well as baseball with the VBL. From 2008 through 2012, Ben was a proud member of the Verona High School Marching Band’s “Pit Crew” serving on the field supporting the percussion section.
According to Ben, “Volunteerism runs in the family”. His wife, Karen Blasi-Blinder is currently a Lieutenant and EMT on the Verona Rescue Squad.
