The Friends of the Verona Public Library and the staff of the Library invite Verona families to spend Family Night at the Verona Public Library on Wednesday March 26, from 6:30 to 8 p.m.
Family Fun Night at the Verona Library is geared toward children in preschool through fourth grade and will feature several activities for the entire family. This Family Fun Night will feature several rounds of bingo. Picture Bingo for the younger children will start at 6:45 and traditional bingo will start at 7:15. Both activities will take place in the Jack Foley Room on the lower level of the library.
In the Children’s Room we will have several crafts for children of all ages to enjoy, including bracelet making (bring your looms). A dessert will be served at the end of the evening.
Each academic year, the Verona School District identifies two “family nights”. On Family Night, no homework is given and sports and club activities are not held to encourage family bonding time.
“We had such a fantastic response to our previous Family Fun Nights,” said organizer and Friends Vice President Jodi Cappello. “This is a great opportunity for families to spend Verona Family Night together having fun with others right here at our town library, which is a center of community and family activity in our town.”
Family Fun Night at the Library is free and registration is not required. For questions, feel free to email [email protected].
