This past Saturday, the Verona High School boys lacrosse team started practice for the 2014 season on one of the few spaces in town that was clear of snow or not soggy from snow melt: the VHS parking lot. When the work approved under the March 11 referendum is completed, the lacrosse team–as well as the baseball, softball, soccer and football teams–will work out and play on a turf field right on the high school campus.
