The Verona High School girls basketball team improved its record to 3-3 on Thursday afternoon with a 71-37 trouncing of Montclair Immaculate.
Senior Julie Rosenberg led the scoring for the Hillbillies with 20 points and grabbed 10 rebounds. Julianne Sullivan and Cole McConnachie had 14 points apiece.
Meanwhile, the boys rebounded nicely from their loss to Bloomfield Tech earlier this week to beat Caldwell 48-27. Alex Kaslander led the team with 13 points, while Frank Ferrari had eight. Will Mulderry and Dave Gautieri dominated the boards with six and five rebounds respectively.
