The Verona Police are saying that there will be no garbage pickup today because of the snow storm. If you are on the Tuesday-Friday schedule, you need to hold your trash for Tuesday.
The snow storm has left Verona feeling more like Vernon, N.J. The temperature is going to be below 20 degrees all day. We should get to 40 degrees on Monday before a new blast of cold air arrives.
According to the National Weather Service, Verona got only 6 inches of snow, the same as Central Park.
