The snow is already falling in Verona and the National Weather Service thinks winter storm Electra could bring 8 inches of snow to our area. The Junior Wrestling program competition in Montville this morning is still on, but other events have been postponed or cancelled.

- The girls varsity track scrimmage in Bloomfield is cancelled.
- The Episcopal Church of the Holy Spirit has moved Christmas pageant practice to tomorrow after services.
- The Verona Woman’s Club has decided to postpone its “Share the Light Night” evening of luminaries from today to next Saturday, December 21.
- The Geyer Family YMCA has rescheduled its “Decorate December” event to tomorrow, Sunday December 15, from 6 to 8 p.m. Santa has re-arranged his schedule to be there.
- The Verona-Glen Ridge Hockey game against Montclair Kimberley Academy has been cancelled.
