With the possibility that winter storm Electra will bring 8 inches of snow to Verona, the Verona Woman’s Club has decided to postpone its “Share the Light Night” evening of luminaries from tomorrow to next Saturday, December 21.
On “Share Your Light Night”, Verona homes put out luminary kits they have purchased from the Woman’s Club and Juniorettes. The candles inside the sand-filled bags are lit at 5 p.m. creating a ribbon of light symbolizing neighborhood unity. The proceeds from the sale of the luminaries help the Woman’s Club and Juniorettes to provide community service.
