Car Drives Through Window At Wells Fargo Bank

Car-Wells-FargoA car was driven through the walk-up window on Wells Fargo bank at 599 Bloomfield Avenue a little while ago. The Verona Rescue Squad is on the scene, but traffic is backing up on Bloomfield Avenue.

UPDATE: The car was driven by a Montclair resident in his 80s. He told the Verona Police that his car had had a mechanical failure. The driver refused medical attention at the scene and there were no other injuries. Verona Police Chief Doug Huber says the accident is still under investigation.
