Alex Fiedler (front row above in red) is representing Verona High School in the All-State Mixed Chorus. He sang in Atlantic City this past Friday and will be singing at the New Jersey Performing Arts Center this Sunday.
The students who perform in the All-State Mixed Chorus were chosen in May and have been in rehearsal all summer and fall. Fiedler, a VHS junior, is the only Verona student in the group this year, and the first to perform with it in many years. An active member of VHS chorus program, he has also been in town performances of The Putnam County Spelling Bee, Guys And Dolls, and Beauty And The Beast.
The NJPAC concert, which also includes the All-State Orchestra, begins at 3 p.m. Tickets range from $10 to $27.
