Holiday Safety Tips For Seniors

MyVeronaNJ-Senior-Care-SlideThe Verona Municipal Alliance Committee will sponsor the return of Adrian Restivo Levitt, PhD, to the Verona Seniors meeting on November 6, at 1 p.m. at the Verona Community Center, 880 Bloomfield Avenue, Verona. Refreshments will be served.

Dr. Levitt will use her great sense of humor, personal stories and experience to talk about holiday safety. She said “ we are going to do a social norms experiments, practice limit setting and refusal skills, learn the signs of alcohol poisoning (to pass along to younger family members) during the holidays.” She promised it will be lots of fun.

VMAC provides programs to the Verona community to educate and promote community wellness. Its funding comes from a grant through the Governor’s Council on Alcoholishm and Drug Abuse with matching funds from the Township of Verona.
