VHS Band Director To Be On Sirius XM

TimpaniErik Lynch, director of bands at Verona High School, is featured on the opening segment of this weekend’s “Sounds from the Spires” program on Sirius XM radio channel 129.

Mr. Lynch performs as timpanist on a recording of Mr. Aaron Copland’s “Fanfare for the Common Man” with organist Mr. Vincent Carr, who is interviewed for the hour-­long program.

All are invited to listen to the opening 10-­15 minutes of the program for Mr. Lynch’s performance and a mention of the Verona High School Music Department.

The show will air on Sunday, October 27th at 5:00 p.m. on Channel 129. Other broadcasts will take place on Saturday, October 26th at 1:00 a.m. and 11:00 p.m. as well as Sunday, October 27th at 6:00 a.m.
