The folks behind Team Zoey have let us know that if you were planning on registering for their Turkey Trot run in Verona Park in November, you’ve got an extra incentive to do so now.
Thanks to the matching gift challenge made by New England Patriots owner Robert Kraft, any Turkey Trot registrations made by Wednesday, October 23, will be matched dollar for dollar.
The third annual Team Zoey Turkey Trot will be held on Saturday, November 30, in Verona Park. It consists of a 5K road race and a 1-mile fun run. The race benefits the Progeria Research Foundation, which seeks a cure for a rapid aging disease that affects a Verona child, Zoey Penny.
