
On Thursday, September 26 the Verona Public Library will host an open house from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. The Board of Trustees, the Friends of the Library and the staff are inviting the residents of Verona to tour the facilities, enjoy refreshments, enter drawings, see database demonstrations, meet the staff and give us their input about what they would like from their Library.
The Friends of the Library group have received donations from generous local organizations. The Montclair Art Museum donated a year-long family membership valued at $70. The Paper Mill Playhouse and The Shakespeare Theatre of New Jersey donated tickets to upcoming performances. We are going to have drawings for gift baskets combining the membership or the tickets with certificates from local restaurants.
