DePalma-Chargers-PracticeDan DePalma will be staying on the San Diego Chargers, but not in the capacity he likely would have preferred.

Boltbeat.com is reporting that the Verona native has been put on the team’s injured reserve list. DePalma led the Chargers’ receivers in receptions so far–seven catches totaling 70 yards–but suffered a shoulder injury in the first pre-season came.

Under rules that the NFL enacted last year, after week eight of the regular season each team can bring back one player who has been placed on injured reserve. Keep your fingers crossed.
