MyVeronaNJ-Kal-ParekhIf you have been following the acting career of Verona High School graduate Kal Parekh, you may want to start following “The Following“.

Parekh will be co-starring as Aaron for seven episodes of the FOX channel drama, starting Monday, March 11. “Please check it out,” he wrote us after running into us in Jack’s Cafe last week. “We have a fantastic ending in store for you in May.”

A word of caution: “The Following” might not be what you consider family fare. The show is about a cult of serial killers led by a man who escaped from death row. He and the group are being tracked by a former FBI agent, who is played by Kevin Bacon. We’re not sure whether Aaron is part of the good guys or the bad guys; the role is so new that it’s not even yet on Parekh’s bio page on IMDB.com.

You might remember from our 2011 story, that Parekh, who had been more of an arts student at VHS, got into acting by accident while taking a class on acting for animators. He played Sanjiv, a 1960s flight navigator, on ABC’s drama “Pan Am” last year. If you missed that, Parekh wants you to know that “Pan Am” is now out on DVD.
