Verona neighbor Glenn Houthuysen has headed down to Long Branch today for the Polar Bear Plunge to support the Special Olympics.

Houthuysen, a veteran Polar Bear, won’t be jumping into the chilly surf alone: There are more than 5,000 “plungers” scheduled to run into the ocean at 1 p.m.
