Boy Scouts To Hold Pancake Breakfast
The Verona Boy Scouts, Troop 2 will be hosting a pancake breakfast on Saturday, March 16, from 8 to 11 a.m. at the First Presbyterian Church, located at 10 Fairview Avenue. The menu will include pancakes, sausage, juice, coffee and tea.
The cost of the breakfast is only $5 for adults and $4 for senior citizens and children 11 years of age and under. The proceeds of the breakfast will be used to help fund Troop events including membership fees, camping trips, meetings, and the many educational activities the organization provides for the Scouts. Tickets may be purchased at the door or by e-mail.
For over 90 years, the Verona Boy Scouts have given our youth the opportunity to learn skills to help prepare them for the challenges of life. In addition to regular outdoor trips and activities, the boys are also taught the value of community service and good character. Anyone who has an interest in scouting (boys in grades 5 through age 17) is welcome to come and speak with members of the Troop to learn about what makes Boy Scout Troop 2 a truly unique and enjoyable experience for so many.
Please come and help the Boy Scouts raise funds for their valuable programs – and enjoy a hearty breakfast in the process!
