It’s been a winter of freezing and thawing on Verona Park Lake and, last weekend, an enormous flock of water fowl decided to make the lake their own.
Trish Moore took these photos of the gathering. “I’ve never seen anything like it,” she e-mailed us. “The geese & ducks were looking for a small spot on the water to sun themselves. Hundreds found the only opening of water. It was amazing.”
One can only wonder what this little guy thought of it all.
