“Thinking Like a Behavior Analyst: Looking at Behavior by Function – Part 1” will be the the topic of a parenting worksho by The Children’s Institute’s behavior analysts Val Triano, BCBA, Robyn DePeola, BCBA, Kristie Murano, BCBA, and Ian Nutkis, BCBA.
The seminar, scheduled for Thursday, January 10, at 7 p.m., is free and open to the public and will take place at TCI, which is located at One Sunset Avenue. Participants will learn how to identify a target behavior and operationally define the behavior; collect and analyze ABC data to determine the function of the behavior; and learn the four functions of behavior.
