2012: A Year In Review

2012 was a year that many of us can’t wait to forget: An uninspired economy, a massive hurricane and gun violence that came too close to home. But there were high points too, from sports championships to great entertainment and new places to eat out.

We’ve created a retrospective of 2012 in Verona, using a very cool piece of software we picked up at a conference for independent news sites in Chicago in September. We’ve used it to tell Verona’s story in text, photos and even videos. You can use your arrow keys to move through it, or click on the timeline elements to jump ahead.

And if we forgot some of your favorite moments, please let us know in the Comments box below.
