Verona View: Snow Daze

Now that last week’s snow is gone, we can take a minute to celebrate its beauty, captured by MyVeronaNJ.com reader Pat Liska. “Winter ?,” he wrote when he emailed us the photo, “No, just a start to another weird storm. As peaceful as a snow seen may seem, this is just a warning for the weather ahead of us.”

“Hopefully after last week’s storm everyone is prepared for what may happen,” Liska added. “In talking with a lot of people and personally helping others, it is good to see that there are many out there in this town that are willing to help others in need out. It makes you feel good when that person you help turns to you and thanks you from the bottom of their heart, and you can feel it. Let’s not forget that there are still many that need our help now and in the future. And just like the season that is upon us, giving to those in need is the best thing you can do. Hope everyone stays healthy and safe.”

We think that’s a good message for a “Verona View” on any day of the week. “Verona View” is a new daily photo feature from MyVeronaNJ.com that highlights people, places and events in Verona, N.J. Take a photo with your camera phone, DSLR or anything in between and send it in. MyVeronaNJ.com will feature one reader photo every day. To submit your photo, email it, or text it to 973-632-4015, or post it to our Facebook page.
