Kids Events At Watchung Booksellers

In this rollicking sequel to Powerless, Matthew Cody continues the story of 12-year-old Daniel Corrigan, the onset of his superpowers, his posse of super-powered friends and the villains who aim to strip them of their powers. Full of nonstop action, this homage to vintage comic books is absolutely every kid’s dream. Matthew Cody will be at Watchung Booksellers on November 14 at 4 p.m. and the event will include photo opportunities with Cody as well as signed copies of Super.

Circles and squares! Squiggles and wiggles and stripes! When Jansen the mouse discovers the art of such greats as Picasso and Warhol, the bright, bold colors and shapes capture her imagination and spark her creativity. Author Jane Breskin Zalben has created over 40 kids books.  When she isn’t painting, she loves to cook and garden in Long Island, where she lives. Zalben will be at Watchung Booksellers on November 17 at 10:30 a.m. The event will allow for photo opportunities and signed copies of the book.
