The PSE&G trucks in front of F.N. Brown tell the story: The school, which had been closed since Hurrican Sandy rolled through town last week, will open tomorrow. Verona Superintendent Steven A. Forte isn’t yet saying how many hours, though. “While we are working to make some or all of the rest of the week full days,” he wrote in an early afternoon email, “please prepare for ½ days- more information in the 5:30 update.”

Oh, and if your high school students haven’t already complained, the heat was not operating in a large part of VHS today. Forte says the district is working to solve the problem.
