Teachers Recognized For Curriculum Work

The Verona public school district kicked off the year on September 5  with a full day of professional development for all staff members focused on current state and national initiatives including the new teacher evaluation system, PARCC/Assessment, and the Common Core State Standards.

The morning began with an awards ceremony during which 25 staff members were presented with UBEE awards for their outstanding work implementing the Understanding by Design initiative.
