Essex County will once again be holding its 10-hour Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) training program later this month. This is a free training program, held on two consecutive Fridays. It is geared for construction-oriented businesses and will provide owners with information about federal safety standards that they are required to provide in the workplace.
The OSHA class will be held on Friday, August 24 and the following Friday, August 31, from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. both days. The classes take place at the Essex County Hall of Records in Newark, 465 Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Blvd., Room 518.
