Major Traffic Mess At Verona Pool

Date:

Share post:

If you are going to Verona Pool on Monday, July 2, be prepared for a longer drive than usual. Fairview Avenue is closed northbound at Durrell Street because PSE&G is digging a gas line trench across the road.

To get to the pool, you’ll need to head toward Cedar Grove on Grove Avenue, turn left on Pompton and immediately left again on Myrtle Avenue. Follow Myrtle to Fairview and turn left. There is a big orange utility sign in the road and traffic cones blocking the southbound lanes, but Verona Police say it’s OK to go around the cones. You’ll be able to turn left into the normal pool driveway once you get there.

The work should be done by 4 p.m.

  1. Viriginia – Thrilled that you obtained the additional information for us! NIXLE alert provided nothing and I really didn’t want to bother the Police with an inquiry. SO glad we have you looking out for us!
