Verona is getting a plug from the New York Times‘ weekend real estate section, which is out today. The piece, A Slice Of Life Where The Price Is Right, doesn’t tell those of us who live here anything about Verona that we don’t know already: good schools, good neighbors, affordable homes. But since the Times has a few more readers than MyVeronaNJ.com does, it’s likely to bring a few more potential home buyers this way.
One small irony: The last name of the reporter on the story is Caldwell.
The last time Verona appeared in this New York Times feature was back in January of 1991. Much has changed since then and it’s a fascinating read given the context of the more recent article:

Especially Dr. Pryor’s prescient words about the school budget. Thanks for digging this out, Steve.
