Calvary Lutheran Church will welcome Easter with a contemporary service at 8:30 a.m., Easter Breakfast at 9:30 and a traditional service at 10:45.
The Episcopal Church of the Holy Spirit has Easter Sunday services at 9:30 a.m. Before the service, the children of the congregation dig up a banner with the word “Alleluia”, which they buried to remind themselves that the word may not be uttered during Lent. After mass, the church holds its annual Easter Egg Hunt, which is open and free to all the children of the community.
The First Congregational Church will have a 10 a.m. Easter Sunday service.
Our Lady of the Lake, the Roman Catholic church in Verona, has masses at 7:30 a.m. , 9 a.m., 10:30 a.m. and noon.
First Presbyterian Church will have a Celebration of the Resurrection at 10:15 a.m. beginning with a prelude of trumpets, timpani and organ. The Praise and Senior Choirs will sing festive Easter music and will lead the congregation in traditional Easter hymns of praise and joy.
The Verona United Methodist Church has its Easter Sunday service at 10:30 a.m.
