The Verona High School Varsity Wrestling team opened its 2011-2012 season by taking second place in the Edison Classic Tournament on December 17. Tom Cundari, Joe Festa and Paul Scully took first place medals. Frankie Greco and Joe NcNally took second place, and Joe Cordasco and Bobby Hildebrandt took third place.
The JV team also did a great job. Joe Ballantyne, Nick Esposito and Brian Wagner all took first place, and Nick Longo and Jake Quercia took second place.
