Our thanks to sharp-eyed reader Alan Yee for spotting the sign in the window at Krauszers Liquor Locker. The Bloomfield Avenue business sold a Pick 6 Lotto ticket that has made somebody very, very, very happy.

New Jersey Lottery officials are confirming that a ticket purchased at Krauszers won the top prize of $2.4 million in the drawing held on Monday, November 7. The winning numbers were: 14, 18, 21, 24, 26, and 40.

Alas, we don’t know who the lucky winner is: He or she hasn’t apparently stepped forward yet. “Somewhere out there, someone is holding the winning ticket for this Pick 6 jackpot,” said Lottery Executive Director Carole Hedinger. “It’s important to note that they are not the only winners from this Pick 6 drawing: another seven players each won $4,492 for correctly picking five numbers; 621 players won $55 each for correctly matching four numbers; and 11,050 players won $3 each for correctly matching three numbers.
