Michael Unis
Michael Unis, a member of the Verona Board of Education, will travel to Washington, D.C. on Friday, June 17, to meet with members of the Obama administration and attend a reception with the president. Unis is a member of the Young Elected Officials Network, a group of young progressives in elected office that has been invited to the White House to discuss important issues facing states and localities. “I’m excited to join in a dialogue ranging from immigration to educational reform,” Unis said in a statement. “It’s so important to have a voice, share and inspire others to find theirs too”.
