The Verona High School Alumni Association would like you to help celebrate the success of the Verona High School Class of 2011 by supporting its VHSAA Scholarship Fund fundraiser. The VHSAA will be selling maroon and white ribbons, at $6 for a single ribbon or $10 for a set. You can also support the Scholarship Fund by buying a graduation celebration ice cream cake from The Towne Scoop by calling 973-857-2667 .
You can order your ribbons online through the new VHSAA Web site. Order forms are also available at the Verona Community Center, as well as at the Senior Awards Event scheduled for Thursday June 2. Call in orders by contacting Gail Sferrazza at 973-239-8418 or Sue Betcher at 201-452-1470 .
Monies raised by the sale of ribbons/cakes are donated in full to the VHSAA Scholarship Fund each year and more than $4,500 in scholarships have been given out since 2005. All ribbons will be delivered prior to graduation date.
