On four Saturdays from April 9 to April 30, the Newark Museum is going to be holding studio art classes for children ages 5 to 13. Taught by professional artists, the classes cover techniques such as collage and mosaics, as well as ceramics and animation.
Classes are limited to 15 students and are divided by age. There is a morning session from 10 a.m. to noon and an afternoon session from 1 to 3 p.m.
The classes cost just $70 for Newark residents and $80 for non-Newark residents, but Museum members get a 10% percent discount.
