Rick Foy braved the blizzard Sunday night to get photos of Bloomfield Avenue. Dan Robinson had his camera while walking back from Montclair (don’t ask), and Chris Gibson looks to have been the only driver on Route 280 this morning.
Those are just some of the people who went out with kids, dogs, sleds and shovels to capture what will likely be Verona’s last snowstorm of a very snowy 2010. We even got photos from our youngest photographers to date, middle-schoolers Ashley Nigro and Bridget Cumming. And while the National Weather Service didn’t even think to put Essex County on its snow alerts, Arlene Roeland measured exactly how much snow fell (see the very last slide). We’ll confess to having a bias toward the snowman created by the Walsh-Corbett family that graces the home page.
Thanks to all of you for your photographic efforts, and thanks to all the rest of you who spent the day shoveling out your neighbors. Much appreciated all around.
