State Senate To Review Teen Driver Decal

August 23, 2010
By

The New Jersey state Senate voted today to have the Attorney General review a state law that requires new drivers to put a red decal on their license plates. The  AG’s office will have six months to determine whether the decal law, which is known as “Kyleigh’s Law” after the teenager whose death sparked its passage, poses a safety risk. A group of legislators have sought a repeal of the law almost since its passage. NJ.com has details on today’s decision.
