VHS ’74, Then And Now

It’s not every day that you get to reconnect with your old friends, especially if they’re friends from a Verona High School class that graduated 36 years ago. But a group of the VHS Class of 1974 convened at the Highlawn Pavilion on Saturday night and they took a picture that recreated a shot they had posed for way back when.

The hair was longer then, the waistlines are a tad wider now, but it is still unmistakably Bill Solomon, Annie Bettelli (Andie Lenkowsky back in 1974), Mike Mancini, Betty LaBaugh and Tommy Russo-Russoniello, left to right. Class of 2010, eat your heart out.
