Holly Whitmore Denton’s Music Together school will be doing a sing and play along under the C.H.I.L.D. reading tent at the Verona Pool this Thursday, July 29 at 3 p.m. Infants, toddlers, preschoolers and their parents are invited to attend. Children must be accompanied by an adult.
Music Together is based on the idea that all children are inherently musical. Its 45-minute classes for children and their caregivers are designed to nurture children’s natural enthusiasm for music and movement through songs, chants, movement activities, and instrumental jam sessions. The classes are taught through nine different song collections, designed to provide children with a wide experience of different rhythms, tonalities, moods, styles and instruments.

Sadly, I packed up, drove to the pool, found a parking place, and walked my kids in…all excited…to find that this event was cancelled…due to rain this morning…not a happy momma!
C.H.I.L.D. canceled the event because of iffy weather. Holly says it will be rescheduled for some time in August. We’ll keep you posted.
